You know, I just wanna say, there were people saying Brock Purdy doesn’t belong in any conversations about anything, he’s not even good, he’s riding the coattails of his teammates. Blah. Blah blah. He FIXED what was going wrong for them offensively. And the 9ers D was the reason they were losing in the first half, and why they were able to come back in the second.

Dan Campbell out coached himself. He pulled a Brandon Staley on 4th down twice. To be fair, receivers have to catch. But learn to kick when your defense is holding up and you’re ahead.

The Purdy game manager talking point was stonewalled last week with the comeback drive vs the Packers and this week it was put to DEATH with Purdy leading a comeback entire 2nd half of football from 17 down, putting up 27 points unanswered to take his team to the Superbowl...I don't wanna hear game manager and Purdy mentioned in the same sentence again! #BangBangNinerGang put some respect on my QB!

Coaching is not all Xs and Os, it’s understanding your team and the momentum swings. Giving the niners life is what cost them this game and that’s on Campbell.

The difference in the game was not only the coaching but the QBs. Purdy actually is a threat to extend plays with his running while Goff is not. I honestly can't fault the 4th down plays of the Lions. 1 play the WR just dropped the ball. The other play it would have been a 48 yard field goal attempt (not a gimme). But again in either situation if Goff was a threat running maybe his receivers would have more room with less defense.

Problem is there was no reason to gamble in the first place. We were up by 14.

Dan needed to simply kick that FG. It turns into a 3 possession game at that point. That was the turning point of the game in my mind.

Brock Purdy shutting up all the haters. He was incredible at extending plays and picking up chunk yardage with his legs. he is a GAME CHANGER and there’s a reason he’s an MVP candidate

I’m a lions fan and I gotta give San Fran props they came back and played really well. The other fans complaining about the way campbell coached needs to get over it. It’s a football game and we should all be happy we were watching our team even compete.

Where Ryan Clark at he was saying Purdy was going to lose his job if they lost but Purdy played great in the 2nd half and all you haters should STFU Purdy has been playing like a top 5 QB this whole season

That was brutal, I feel like everyone outside of SF was a Lions fan that game.
I feel bad for actual Lions fans, but they had a great season and they have one of the top teams in league. In the end 31 teams are disappointed each year
