I have a '23 V7 Special Edition, and a '24 V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale. The difference in riding these two Guzzis is like night and day. When one hears "Moto Guzzi", the V7 is the one that comes to mind. The V100 is definitely the odd duck, especially here in the States. And like has been mentioned, I believe there are less than 30 dealers in the entire United States. Luckily for me, there's one about an hour's drive from me, which is where I bought both of my Guzzis. I was able to get parts from AF1 Racing in Texas for the V7 (Agostini mufflers, airbox lid delete kit, UPMAP tune, engine guards, solo seat) and the V100 (full big-bore Agostini exhaust, y-pipe, Mistral muffler, engine guards), and being new, I'm not expecting to have any unplanned maintenance issues. They are definitely a niche motorcycle, more so than the other Italian brands. These are the sixth and seventh Guzzis I've owned over the last 40 years, more than any other brand. Those that know, know!

Great preview of the 2025 Guzzis. I have a 2024 V100s and I can confirm that you probably wouldn't notice the effect on rides on normal days, but in rain and cold weather they definitley help.

Thanks for doing your video.
Usually it's only about BMW so was nice to hear

Thank God Guzzis are (usually) bought only by the cognoscenti & V-twin enthusiasts. If not, this famous company, with masses of racing success largely unknown by the public, would be following every daft whim the motorcycling press & other manufacturers engage in. Still crafted in Italy, these are superbly engineered bikes with great riding dynamics, style, easy maintenance and not mass produced. But hey, don’t tell the world lest all motorcyclists learn about the marque.

They are supposed to be developing a retro styled naked with the V100 platform. I would love to see a new Le Mans sport road bike styled like the bikes of old. I think they would sell like hotcakes. Make it comfy for the road but sporty and lose some weight as well. Give it a bit more power being a Le Mans to say about 125 hp and lose around 10 to 15kg and they will have a winner. I certainly would look to buy one. Here's hoping.

V100 - Aero is for rider comfort not performance Alf and it features on all the V100s including when it first came out. Reminds me of the 'Razor' robot in robot wars lol, good looking bike and proper peppy motor, and is a sporty ride.

An Eldorado style cruiser would be great. The issue here in Australia they are crazy expensive

I’m very fortunate that I recently added a standard v100 to my little collection (which includes Harley softail Slim) fantastic bike, build quality is very high, the technology just works

Do you feel the 2025 upgrades are enough on the V100S Mondello to make a buyer wait or go for a 1st gen with a heavy discount? Only the tweaks t the engine or gearbox would be enough to sway me if its going to make the quickshifter more usable.

I fell in love with the V-100 Mandello ever since I test rode it! But I hate the new colors for 2025 of the non-S versions. First of all, I wish they kept the (gorgeous!) wheels light-colored, instead of making them black. Then... both of the colors of the "simple" versions are quite "dull" and indifferent. Wish they kept a similar red or a bright color similar to their white one.
Riding-wise though, it 's still one of the only 2 bikes I've fell in love during the past 15 years. (the other one is Indian FTR 1200)

I rode one for an hour. Nice machine, my criticism was that it wobbled when shifting at highway speeds. The main issue is that, unless you live in Italy, good luck finding a DEALER, certainly in the US. In the New York metro area, there is only ONE, and it is not conveniently located. And try getting PARTS.

"Blow Tube" ranked below Wind Tunnel when Sre. Guzzi was musing on names...
While, like you, I'm a fan, I don't foresee a lot of new riders (what's that?) fancying a Guzzi, right out of the licensing gate.

I think people misunderstand the porpoise of those wings. Lots of mfgs do the same thing (even Moto Guzzi) on other models by just putting fixed plastic winglets off to the sides of their main windscreen. It's not to make the bike go faster, but rather to keep the wind from sneaking around behind the windscreen and causing turbulence at highway speeds. You can look at the difference between the V85 touring version vs the V85TT version to see what I'm talking about. The touring version gets the plastic winglets.

Do you know if the 2025 S models can be had WITHOUT the ugly radar system? It stands out like a sore thumb!

I've got the previous one. I have no reason to upgrade. The radar cruise control is a gimmick, frankly. Cruise control simply isn't necessary and I never use it. I have the charcoal grey colour. Not very keen on the new colours, but if I was new into this market, I could live with the silver/green.

Wind tunnel designed. Then why is the screen so useless.

The V100 series can't really be interpreted as a classic "Guzzi". They are more SPORT than TOUR. The V100 engines are rev happy and ADHD as they come. I moved to a 2025 V85TT TRAVEL from my V100S after 12, 700 miles as the super hyper nature of a SPORT bike grew real tiring. I don't miss the V100S "nature" at all. I do miss how pretty that bike is, though. For me, the V85TT has plenty of real world power and is so, so smooth and relaxed to be on for hours and hours. But it is TOUR, not SPORT. You need to judge the V100S for what it is and ignore the name Moto Guzzi. Shut your eyes, so to speak, and decide how SPORT you want to be. The V100 works fine as long as that SPORT metric is most important and yes, the wings work. 48 F and raining you'll be glad they work, too.
