Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are set to pay €40m (£33.7m) plus €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons, with a sell-on clause also inserted into the deal.

It is anticipated that personal terms will not be an issue as Arsenal look to secure the signing of the defender.

Antonio Bank was wrong about Gabriel. The last 2 years he has become world-class in my opinion. Especially last year. From December to March he was our best defender. He was outstanding for the remainder od the year as well. Big Gabby is my favorite player besides Saka. He is a competitive dog on the pitch! He takes on the challenge. He gave Haaland fits last year. He has grown exponentially mentally and physically. Great video DG
