1 hour 34 minutes of this interesting speech delivered and recorded in 1989. It gathered dust in the University of Waterloo archives, until it was uploaded by a former student on IRC channel I visited on March 3rd, 2007. I uploaded it here on July 2016.

The soon-to-be billionaire speaks fluidly and authoritatively on topics that were not easily researched at the time. His sheer brilliance shows in his predictions of the industry, pointing out sales verticals and even comments on software piracy before concluding. I added silence at the end, the original archive is not in my possession, and this may be the only surviving copy.

Extraordinary videos with so little view counts like this always give a comfy feeling when watching 🍵

Its a shame the audio quality is abysmal. It sounds like the tape was under water in another room.

I listened to the man live 1988 Bella Center Copenhagen. I like the clear ability to predict future developments. He did not quite focus enough on hand-held devices in the years after 1989!.
