I spent a few months testing Accordance and Logos, and made a lot of comparisons: price, interface, libraries, features, ease of use, and customer service.
In terms of price, the Accordance wins - Logos are still much more expensive!
In terms of interface, Logos offers a more functional and intuitive interface.
In the library, Logos comes out ahead. Thousands of books available for study.
Features and ease of use are inversely proportional. Because it has more features, Logos becomes a little more complex. But many resources are very important.
I see many complain about Logos customer service. I'm Brazilian and I've never had an email or message go unanswered and resolved. And all in my language.
Finally, I see it as extremely important for the software to offer support in my language. Unfortunately, Accordance is not in Brazilian Portuguese and only has a Bible in Portuguese.
Logos is entirely in Portuguese, there are dozens of bibles and books in my language. This was certainly decisive in my choice of Logos.
I will continue using Accordance, but more often Logos.

I am a big fan. I have used Logos Bible Software, E-Sword, WordSearch, and Accordance.... They all had their strengths. For me the draw to accordance was how clean and fast and customizable it is. The customer service is also incredible. I've been using Accordance since 2015. I was test driving Logos Gold package then. Accordance just got me quicker to the study. As a pastor....who also happens to be a minimalist.... I can't recommend it enough.

If you have Windows, Swordsearcher is the ticket. Easy to use yet in depth. I love the note taking aspect and price. Most people and I mean probably everyone would never use those big packages offered on Logos and Accordance. The theologians of the past had smaller libraries and yet look what they accomplished.

Too bad Accordance is not doing too well from a business standpoint. Hopefully they’ll survive!
