What Richochet said, says a lot about the new gen of wrestlers. They think they know more than everyone before them. More times than not, that’s not true. They get away with it in AEW bc Tony doesn’t know enough, which is also leading to lower viewership.

Bro said he needed freedom for the Ricochet character to succeed? No bro, what you need to do is learn to cut a promo that would make someone actually care ab you. Bro was mad about being a midcard guy in wwe (when that’s all he should be) so he went to the home of every midcard/past their prime wrestler. Bro just doesn’t know anything clearly. If he somehow finds more success down there then so be it but considering the work he does I doubt it.

Another case of wrestlers being meatheads who think they know everything and overvalue themselves into mediocrity and obscurity.

Ricochet is simply not that guy. He doesnt have the voice, charisma and IT factor to be that guy, even in NXT when Triple H gave him the platform. Some people have to accept that they have limits and have a ceiling. Its ok that you may never be world champion byt at least you are one of the top stars of the comapny and you getbto have multiple midcard championships to your name and are etched into the history books long after you are retired and in the grave. Everybody wants to be like Mike when theire is only one Michael Jordan and the whole quote of "if you don't want to be world champion, then you shouldn't even be here" is a quote that needs to be done away with in pro wrestling period because that is the biggest gaslighting quote there is in that profession, especially when the booker himself knows who he can turly push to stardom and who he can't, unless a lightning in a bottle scenario happens with a talent that changes the trajectory of their perception to the audience.
