Takes me back to my early childhood, living with my grandma and my older cousin. Since I never went to a Kindergarten (the few ones that existed in an acceptable proximity were chock-a-blocked) I was usually spending my time by roaming in the nearby fields and woods untill my cousin was out of school.
This reminds me *exactly* with its similar sounds and surroundings (I can almost smell the trees and stream, feel the summer breeze touching my arms and legs, even remember the soaking of my shoes for walking in the water bc I couldn't be bothered to take them off, LOL...
What a simple, beautiful life and time it was; I believe this is all a person needs to be happy: Nature, a good home, and *of course* a couple of furry companions to come out with you.

Thank You for this one too! I was up late last night, I found this sound of running water in a stream, very soothing. All I have to do is find this sound and put on my sleeping mask and I'm off in la la land. Chicago can be too noisy at times, I'm stuck listening to sirens of the police or fire trucks or even the ambulances coming to different streets. Near me for emergencies which times are too real. Can't sleep to these sounds they add worry my mind of loved ones and of good friends. And remind me of living in New York City during my college years. I wish I had these sounds back then. Nothing wrong with New York City just too noisy. Still Thank You. :D
