People say its a bad thing that Billie Piper forgot how to talk like Rose but it does a really good job story wise of conveying how Rose is basically a shadow of her former self due to not being able to see the Tenth Doctor. Say what you will about plot holes and structure, but RTD is genius when it comes to chilling character writing.

This whole scene is one of my favorites of all Doctor Who series 1-10, it’s so pure, and real and Donnas acting is incredible, the music is amazing, the dialogue is realistic and the episode as a whole is just so dark and bleak and Catherine Tate and Billie Piper own every scene they’re in.

always love how Erie and sad these last finale episodes were. I always thought Rose was just as some mention ; older sadder worn out, missing The Doctor, she's had to walk through all these horrible universes in between Martha's timeline and Torchwood and then jeso imagine you suddenly find and meet Donna.... I wish we had seen a 5 episode spin off of Rose's life for a while in between finding the Doc again that werent just audio books
