I just did 5 different state parks across Texas - all were pretty great. You can cut Texas state park costs immensely by purchasing an annual State Park Pass. $70/person or there is a family rate too. With the pass all the daily parking fees are eliminated. My $70 investment probably saved me more than double that by the time I pulled into all those parks across the state. 🎉
