Yellow Corp drivers to go on strike if healthcare/pension contributions don’t resume!

There was a time where the benefits employees received was second to none. As a YELLOW employee in the West, my pension was STOLEN in 2009. The quality of our healthcare has gotten worse over the years. I do not make the 27.00hr. this driver speak of. There are other companies that pay their employees better.
Yellow has mismanaged for the 25+ years that I've been employed. The CEO'S have STUFFED THE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS FOR DECADES! Teamster members have given BILLIONS IN CONCESSIONS since 2009! I've been working for 15% less since that same time. IT WAS a great company but corporate greed is what will destroy this company, it's just a matter of time.

Every single teamster deserves what is coming and Yellow as well. Worked 7 years with Yellow and it is the worst company i have ever worked for in the LTL industry. The operations or top management team only care about themselves and nothing more. And the teamsters on the other hand are blinded by the empty promises the ITB provides for them if only they knew they can careless about their own people. As long as you paying the fees its all good. Both teamsters and yellow wil soon be a passing cloud in the sky 😊

$27 an hour minus union dues, taxes, mileage = $16 an hour. Teamsters only cares about UPS drivers because that is thier big income to the corporation.

Weather or not employees deserve better is not the question, but rather I would be asking myself if Yellow is going to continue to exist or not and if there are as good as or better jobs out there that I’m qualified for

Yellow has only paid in a little over 25% of the 2009 rate for the PENSION FUND ! 7/18/23
