AMERICAS CITIES ARE COLLAPSING

San Francisco will become the next Detroit of America. We are seeing similarities between the two cities with the auto industry in Detroit & tech in San Francisco. Watch this video to see whether San Francisco will follow Detroits lead in becoming an unlivable city in America.

I clicked because of the ZOMBIELAND building. I went there for work 10 years ago, and have a picture of that building. It was horrifying, and took me several minutes for my eyes to register so many buildings with no windows. That's 20 ft graffitti about 20-30 stories up. Razed over now, for a new sports complex. Very sad to see what was a beautiful city turned into a wasteland. The channel AMC filmed a show there called "Low Winter Sun" that shows a street level of the decay. A main character's decent-shape house is across the street from a whole abandoned block, and warlords already had territory. This was about 2014-2015. Kinda like Paris and London are unrecognizable now.

I think you're contribution is sorely underrated. I also think you're estimation of the problem is very conservitive.

You know what? I stare at the walls most of the time. Want to know why? Because I love to read and that's where the writing is. It's all petroglyphs and pictographs to me and every image is worth thousands of words.

I digress.

The urban rot, blight, that is coming is going to be astonishing. The blight caused by that whole GFC hiccup will be viewed as nothing comparable to what's coming. A world rife with Detroits.

They should have just let the 2019 hiccup play out. Now the ball is gone. It's flat, it can't be kicked anymore.

San Francisco will not become the next Detroit for one reason.... RACISM. That's what a lot of these videos and commentaries ignore. Many of the metropolitan areas that have suffered from deindustrialization like Cleveland, St. Louis, Baltimore, Detroit, etc. suffered more because they were also very racially polarized with large black ghettos and wealthy white suburbs.
