6:09 fotress is free to visit from it begining up to now and will be free forever.
My recomendation is to visit Petrovaradin fotress in Novi Sad, also free, famous by EXIT music festival.

Also fortress in Nis, very nice fotress from Ottoman period.

Mediaval fortress in Smederevo, 47km from Belgrade, former mediaval serbian capital, fortress is from mediaval period. By me, not so nice city, former industrial city, lot of abandoned factories, but fortress in very nice, maybe better preserved then BG fortress.

Also RAS fotress close to city of Krusevac. Kruševac is also former serbian capital, fortress is from the period of begining of first serbian state.

Also fortress near town called BAČ(BACH, western alphabet, serbian Č is C+H).

We have nice castles also, from 17., 18., 19. and begining of 20. century. Chekh GOOGLE map.

Monument of Gratitude to France (Serbian: Споменик захвалности Француској,  romanized: Spomenik zahvalnosti Francuskoj)[1] in Belgrade's Veliki Kalemegdan Park was formally unveiled on 11 November 1930, the 12th anniversary day of the end of the First World War, in the presence of King Alexander and Queen Maria, the royal government, the delegation of the French government, Serbian war veterans, distinguished citizens, associations, schools, and a large crowd of people.[2]

Well, you haven't entered a fortress, actually 😁.
At least, you haven't filmed it.
And, it's true, entrance is free and government covers maintaining. But, it also means that it's never maintained good enough. No money making, no money for spending. People can't imagine how huge fortress is, from your video, but maintaining expenses are accordingly high.
Anyway, entrance will remain free for anybody, and I can't imagine the other way.
