How Can I Undo Canva Glow Up? (As of Sep 12th 2024, the 'Undo' option is no longer available)

UPDATE: GLOW UP HAS NOW 100% ROLLED OUT.

This video was recorded in May 2024 when reverting to the previous version of Canva was still possible. As of September 12, 2024 at 8pm EDT, Glow Up has now been fully rolled out to Canva users and it is no longer possible to reset it to the previous version, as demonstrated in the video.

Anytime there’s a change in a platform interface, there’s always going to be a learning curve. I know that working with an updated interface takes some getting used to -- I've had access to it since it was in beta testing so it feels second nature to me now, but I do agree there *is* a learning curve.

But stick with it and please let me know where you're finding it difficult to navigate -- if there are specific areas I can create tutorial videos around, I will be happy to do so.

But note that since that recording, they've moved the design editing panel back to the left side where it was originally, likely based on the feedback from users.

HATE IT. If my files are locked, then I HATE IT. It's Sept 2024 and I SEE NO OPTION to swap back. I can't even find where I could live chat with someone to immediately UNLOCK my damn design files. Reverting back to the old for now, this is just too much. They "NEED" to shell out tons of videos on how to use it and fix things before they roll this big of a change out. I'm livid!

I've been using Canva for my mashups for the last year, but now it's just one big mess. I mean yeah, I can still work on them but I get the bare minimum done on them. I respect the decision to make a new update, but I don't know what your team was thinking with this. I'll still be using it, but I may have to move to another video/audio editor soon.

I am designing a sticker, but I say edit to a design, then I say shadows and there is no glow option, I use the shiny option instead, I set the dimension to 8, I set the amount of turbidity option to 100 and the color is white. I set the intensity section to 0, but nothing changes, the stickers are not white around, I'm going to cry.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

bad upgrade. the workflow in Canva was already obstructive. There are issues with grouping objects/elements especially if there is a QR code in the selected group. Very difficult to get a line that isn't a thin box. Many actions require a menu/dialogue to be opened several times. Objects/elements placed on the workspace are centred on the workspace NOT on the area you can actually see. When zooming on a PC using Ctrl + mouse wheel, very often, the browser will zoom rather than the Canva workspace. This is tedious to put right. Video editing lacks any precision. In short, having used professional apps for decades, Canva wouldn't be my choice to use at all. Sadly it was already in use here, so I have had to suffer it.

You are wrong, there is an option: I can choose to NOT use Canva and delete my account.

I hate Glow Up AND I don't have the option to go back as shown in your video. Not happy with Canva. This on top of some other issues has me looking into other options.

Now I cannot duplicate any of my design pages! Also, no glow up toggle. Ugh.

Do you know if it's possible to toggle glow up on and off? I'd like to turn off to quickly create in the original experience then back on to explore and learn the new interface.

It is way too playful and unorganized to work with. If they don't make an option to continue using the previous layout, I will cancel!
