Satellite Lovers are finally rediscovered after 28 years.

Apparently, this album was not a hit in Japan. They were active till 1996, then disappeared. Unfortunately, nobody has any information on any band members. I hope they find out that almost 30 years later, almost a million people are jamming to this masterpiece.
Edit: I stumbled upon a video by Orange glider on this band, and glad to know she's happily married to the guy who shot the cover of this and all their albums.Unfortunately no info on the others. It's quite amazing to see the power of time here. They became inactive and probably split since their records weren't selling enough. I hope someone shows her this video, so the 20-odd year old version of her knows, that in the end... she won..and her music is now being appreciated not only in Japan, but globally.

The nostalgia hit me like a rocket. It was the year 2000 and for my 10th birthday, my dad took me on his business trip to Tokyo. I remember a store was playing this band as we bought the new Playstation 2. One of the best days of my childhood !! Thank you, youtube algorithm for blessing my weekend with this beautiful memory.
