How to Turn Off Hello Moto Start up Sound on Motorola Phone (Easy Tutorial)

Do you want to know how to turn off the Hello Moto Start up sound on your motorola phone! To do this go to settings, then go to sounds and vibrations or the sound settings. Scroll down and go to power on sounds and turn this off. If you cant find it go to search and type in power on sounds. You'll be able to find it under here.

No unnecessary filler and right to the point. Thank you. I found that "Hello Moto" to be the most annoying sound not found in nature. It sounds like a speech impediment (of course no disrespect to those with such) and its so stupidly goofy. Who thinks up this stuff anyways?

Thank you. I managed to turn it off my old phone but forgot on my last phone. It embarrassing when you switch it on cos it's SO loud, even though I try and tuck it away to muffle the sound. Again, thank you.

I located the power on/off setting under "sounds and vibrations" and it is off (button is dark grey, not bright). However my phone still is not totally silent. All my notifications from when phone was off during sleep come banging on, one after the other ... Such as missed calls and messages, etc. I want it to be totally silent when I turn the phone on so as not to wake anyone. What should I do?

Unfortunately, putting "power on sounds" to off doesn't work on my phone, a Moto G6.

This will NOT work no my phone I turn them off and sometimes I need 2 turn the phone off when I turn it on again the sound plays out hate this phone...
