Taylor deffinately, they sound a bit more sharp and i love that sharpness. Ik some people love the Martins because of how warm they sound and they sound amazing, but still my personal prefrence is Taylor

I love the round warmth of the martin. But the Taylor sounds great also

I'm partial to Martins, they sound warmer and more mellow to me. When I was ready to upgrade from my entry-level Ibanez, I was hoping to snag a Martin and found a like-new (but +/- 30 years old) lower-grade Martin ("Sigma") in my price range. Added a Fisher pickup and have been really happy with it!

No question the deep warm times of the Martin for Classical and Jazz, but the crisp twang of the Taylor for Country and Rock, either for Latin😁

I personally like the Martin for how smooth and warm it sounds. But the Taylor was bright and articulate, and the harmonics rang out sweeter on the Taylor.

In that price range, if you get an Eastman you get more guitar for your buck. But we live in a time where you get a lot of guitar no matter what you get. Good guitars were not this readily available 20, 30, even 40 years ago. But the best guitar in the world is the one you own, because that’s the one you can actually play. I think I’ll go play mine now.

Taylor’s got a groovy sound whilst the Martin has that cozy softness. Both are dope, just depends on what vibe ya like.

If you want quicker dissolve of the resonance of the strings so that each pluck sounds pronounced id pick that Taylor but if you want that warm tone to resonate through the playing for a wall of vibration pick the martin
