I don't know why people at Yamaha make such an amazing bike and not give ABS even as an option. My guess is they might have taken the RC 200 as the benchmark and decided to copy its biggest drawback. Not to forget the cheeky tactic of launching before April 1 to get over the regulation.

I am a yamaha fan, but this r15 really disappoints me. No ABS (which is badly needed in now days), I think the headlamps will be not so highway friendly even though there were 2 lamps instead of 1, the seating geometry is not up to the mark coz it will tire people in long distance. But Yamaha's strong point is its engine. The heart of the bike is so reliable and the looks of this bike is so sexy that those cons can be neutralised. Anyways thank you Autocar for this review.
