Why would the gov care? They are rich and don't even know they're bills. Why expect them to understand? Its like expecting a child to understand taxes XD the government have no idea.

Rubbish people spent too much wanted a house well above thier budget didnt allow enough room for rate rises which were obvious amd are gonna be stuck with high mort costs a house not worth what you paid amd unsellable just like the 80’s
