Also an esthetician here. If you are still getting dirt/makeup whatever on yo ur timer pad then you are not cleansing properly. Toner isn’t a cleansing step. Sounds like you need to cleanse longer or use something that breaks down makeup lore then go in with a 2nd cleanse then a toner

I do that too. Balm, then maybe a ph balancing cleanser and finish with a glycerin cleanser. So nice and my skin doesn’t feel tight ever. Then I go in with all my other stuff.
