Salesforce Solution Design – Performance considerations

Recently for one of our fortune 50 clients, I was assigned to improve performance on page load and also on record save. As part of this, we have done a detailed analysis and improved salesforce performance by 40% with various design changes. So I would like to share all our learnings from this 1-year exercise with all salesforce developers and Architects.

Thank you very much for the video. There are more use cases that can be very interesting (e.g. more workflows (mix of on create and on edit) vs 2 PB - 1 on create, 1 handling all on edit actions.). Also in many situations you can't use WFR so you need to go with PB. Then what can happen, you have some workflows and at least 1 PB. What about those situations? Is it better to rebuild WFRs to PB, if we already need to use PB?
