Great regional frequency. When I lived in missouri I could get this easily next to the laptop with just whip, like a no fade sounds like local MW type regional frequency. I get it where I live now further out west but it has more fade. I'll have to try putting a 12v battery on my loop to extend the frequency range. It goes down to like 3.2MHz when not using the 9v battery. Probably clean it up nicely with the sony.
