erik I would say a lot of the features on other sounder are gimmicks. sure there is use for side scan and chirp ect but furuno and pro fishos know that what you need is power and clarity to get the best feedback and definition of what is beneath you. especially in 500m of water. furuno gives you that feedback and is tough and reliable. simrads and lowrances crap out and let you down. quality is more important than high tech sometimes

Do you guys have any youtube tutorials for your fish finders or any available? it would be a real help and make for great after market care.

one major question, I notice furuno makes these systems but never advertise them properly. how can furuno compete against other brands if the price is high and the system remains the same for years 5+ meanwhile other brands are improving? does this mean furuno has unsurpassed technology or that other fish finders are better and up to date with modern technologies. please awner my question. I want to buy a furuno 295 but am hesitant from the lack of consistant innovation. thanks for your time and kind regards.
