I grew up in the 60s in a small town with the doors were left open and everybody knew everybody. I am 74 and a widow, and I live with my dog Otis 🐶 I think I’m under cautious more than overly cautious. I’m very aware of my surroundings😊 when I go in the grocery store with my purse. I have a wonderful maintenance man that I let into my house whether I am home or not. I trust him explicitly and he’s giving me no reason not to. I am not going to live in fear and be suspicious of people. That’s a horrible way to live, but I am going to be mindful of my surroundings and not put myself in situations that I am either uncomfortable or not safe in. I just love watching you and I hope you had a blessed Sunday. I had a wonderful Christmas service at church with my wonderful ladies. We had our prayer meeting yesterday and we exchanged gifts. I am just so blessed to have a small group of women that I can say that I truly love ❤we worship the same God and we are here for each other. I made chocolate Heathbits fudge for the first time and I think it’s the best. I also made chocolate peanut butter and chocolate walnut. I am all chocolatey out😂😂 love you, my sweet friend and I absolutely loved your home tour. You can never have “too much.” me and Otis🐶Massachusetts to you, James and Buster- boo love🐶you to pieces.❤❤

Its hard to pick sometimes the favorite you all way get the best things and if there not quite there you know how to get them to look nice. Its a good idea to have someone with you when a repair person comes to your house.

Hi Donna I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and Christmas was 60 percent off, I got some great buys. I was so happy with my haul. I love your red plaid shirt with the green shirt, very Christmasy. Loved the way the doves turned out.

Hi Donna. You might find a clock repair place to get an estimate on your Waterford Chrystal piece to get it to work. Just a thought. It's beautiful, just using it for decor. The doves look so pretty on your Christmas tree. What a difference. I used to have a pair of white doves named Adam and Eve when my kids were little. Donna, I watched you home tour last night as lay sleepily in my warm bed. I don’t think I commented but I thoroughly enjoyed the seeing the beauty of your decorated home!
The doves you repainted are beautiful. It’s true we love to make our things look old but not our bodies. I will always apply anti-aging creams to my face, never antiquing wax!😆
You never bore me! I listen to you in the car many times as I’m traveling! Then I have to usually go back and see what I’ve missed cause I got to to keep my eyes on the road!
You have had some great finds lately for sure. I found something I’ve been looking for yesterday. A transfer ware turkey platter… there it sat in all its beauty. Nobody grabbed it because Thanksgiving has passed, I guess. Got it for $6.50! Merry Christmas to me!
