What joy and tears come to my eyes! This cantata was presented by a group of young disciples trying to be grown, trying to be parents, trying to live and worship God. O glorious memories! Thanks be to God.

INSPIRATIONAL ... In 1978, while stationed with the USAF at San Vito dei Normanni Air Station in Italy, I had the honor of participating with about 60 other Catholic and Protestant choir members in performing this Cantata at our small base theatre. With only audio tapes for instrumental backup and a great sound system, our choir director used his skill and deftly coached our little group into a wonderful musical unit with several very accomplished soloists. 
Our performance resulted in an unexpected, but welcome, encore.   
(My 6 year old daughter, Keri,   having attended every choir practice, had memorized every word, and I could see her singing along in the audience.) 
In 1988, I discovered and purchased this CD.  When I listen to this, I am transported in time and blessed ... feeling the awesome power of the King of Love.

I sang this about 30 years ago in a small Indonesian Evangelical church in Fresno CA. I’m thrilled to say that I’ll be singing it again this Christmas in 2024 with the Chinese church! God’s name forever be praised! Can’t thank Mr. Strader enough for this masterpiece. FYI his Easter cantata is also great.

Glad I finally found this! We sang this in our "living Christmas Tree" at Bethesda Baptist in Brownsburg, Indiana in the late '70s-early'80s. My dad built all of the steel structures for it and I sang in it. "Wonderful Name" was my mom's favorite song..."Name angels sang the night all Heaven rang!" ❤

중학교때 (1980년대 초) 교회어른성가대에서 이칸타타를 연습하는걸 듣고 너무 좋아서 테이프를 구해서 늘어질때까지 들었어요
갑자기 생각나서 찾아보니 그때들었던 앨범이 맞네요, 너무나 추억돋네요~

Our Church Choir presented this Cantata in 1979 in Monterrey Mexico in Spanish.
I was in the Children's Choir. We had some 60 Adult Voices (SATB) and around 12 children. I was already 12 that year.
Our Choir was wel known in town then, and we presented it in several churches, and even out of the State of Nuevo Leon MX.

The year before (1978) we sang "Alive Again". I want to find this one also.
