I never watched _Gossip Girl_ and I didn't know who Penn Badgley was but this is now one of my favorite episodes of the podcast. It makes sense that podcast hosts are also good podcast guests.

That's an interesting point about how we glamorize youth. Idk if it's possible to change that though. It's kind of just human nature. Like when I was a teen/young adult, I was so emotionally and mentally under developed, that I completely wasted all of my youth. Now I'm in my mid 30s and feel like I'm wasting this period trying to reclaim as much of my youth as I can before I'm old. Then when I'm old I'll waste all my time trying to accept the reality of being old. And by the time I figure that out I'll be dead.
