And these had actual regular 5 speed automatic transmissions, not the unreliable CVTs that they started putting in the later models. Those CVTs contributed to Nissan's downfall in the 2010s.

I looked for a nice 95-03 for months. Finally found a very clean 2000 GXE, one owner, with 110k miles. Snagged it for $3, 600. I was pretty happy to get it for that considering what I see people trying to sell on places like Facebook Marketplace.

I had 2000 and it ran great no major issues when I had it the only thing I replaced besides routine maintenance was the serpentine belt other than that no issues

I bought my 2000 with 175, 000 in 2017 for $1, 500 but the paint wasn't nearly that good. I've got 250, 000 miles on it now. It's always leaked oil at the flywheel but so what, it runs great!!!

I had a 97 that I absolutely loved. Got up to 300K miles. Wish I had kept it.

These engines are so reliable If they put these engines in more cars cars would last a lot longer there's cars can go 300k miles on the original transmission and engine new cars can barely make it 100k miles before it breaks down

lil trick to make the ac works on these is too cut the ac on then turn it off then hit the ac auto button then it should work did this in my buddy's and he was amazed it actually works not to mention these cars sound so amazing that vq30DE 3.0 when straight piped or no exhaust only car you can probably do this too and still sound amazing other cars you try straight pipe or no exhaust will sound horrible this particular 1 sounds tamed with no exhaust i took mine off and dman it sounds crazy good better than when i had exhaust Facts

I have a 1991 maxima but I want a 2000 maxima because parts for mine are getting hard to come by here in mexico but these 2000 maxima owners be asking 3k and they are poorly maintained or have been hideously modified
