I am 65 and I grew up listening to Springsteen and Smith do their versions of this. I’ll admit to never having heard of Garbage and Screaming Eagles until this appeared in my You Tube queue. If the number of views doubles in the next few weeks, that will be my doing. The torch has passed, and it burns brighter than ever thanks to the talents of Marissa and Shirley.

my then wife bought two tickets for them as a birthday present (she had her moments ;) and after a couple of classics shirley to the forefront of the stage holding hands with marissa (whom i hadn't heard of at the time) and talke about the Screaming Females and how Marissa was like her little sister and we could tell she was totally sincere, and we watched this petite woman grab a guitar taller than her...and such a sound, such a shredding solo came out of the speakers it was difficult to believe it was cute little marissa who made it...SHE AND shirley are tw forces of nature, and long live Garbage for using their aura to help other bands...that is really something more older and better know bands should do....
