This Earth Systems and Climate Change Hub 'Climate Matters' webinar provides an overview of key science achievements and findings related to research undertaken on the science and delivery of regional climate change projections.
Issues discussed include research into what will determine our future temperature and future rainfall in northern and southern Australia; evaluating the latest suite of global climate models produced under CMIP6 and how they can be used in climate projections for Australia; and investigations into the value of 'downscaled' regional climate projections to better understand Australia's future climate.
The Earth Systems and Climate Change Hub ‘Climate Matters’ webinar series provides an opportunity for ESCC Hub researchers to showcase their research achievements during the life of the Hub and explore future opportunities for collaboration and research.
