Shopping and the eWIC Card

Learn about setting up and going shopping with your eWIC card!

The next section of this overview will focus on shopping and the eWIC card.
WIC is now easy to use with the eWIC card. Participants can use this card with ease at the store. It is much like a debit card. The process is much more discreet, and the participant does not have to get all of the benefits at once.
Participants will have an orientation on how to go shopping and use their card during their initial certification.
eWIC card setup will be discussed in your initial appointment by our Nutrition Assistants. They will briefly provide information based off of the eWIC brochure seen on the next slide.
The eWIC card guide is given to participants receiving a card with information about how to use their eWIC card. The brochure is available in multiple languages.
