Localized scleroderma or morphea is a condition that predominantly affects
the skin and tissue underlying the skin. It affects children and adults. In
this session, you will learn about what localized scleroderma looks like and
how it differs depending on the age of the affected individual. We will also
learn about what types of evaluation should be done depending on the type

This was EXTREMELY helpful to watch. I was diagnosed with Linear Morphea when I was 14 and was treated with prednisone and methotrexate on and off for years. Fortunately, it has been inactive for quite some time now (I am 29 years old now). My linear morphea is on my arm/hand. I didn't have any trouble for a while, but within the past couple of years, I have had severe trouble with the muscles in my arm & hand. My muscles spasm and get extremely tight. My fingers also get "stuck" together. And so many other weird things. My rheumatologist kind of brushed me off and told me to get physical therapy. After watching this, it looks like it might need further treatment so I will advocate for myself and hopefully get an MRI & treatment.
