I got this stereo for Christmas in 2012 and I still have it today. Best gift I ever got. My dad had saw me enjoying the Best Buy display and he bought it for me. My cousin ended up buying the exact same model and my aunt used them for her wedding!! He still has his too! They are amazing speakers even today!

I have the same exact stereo I got mine at Best Buy. It was almost $1000 and now both of ours yours and mine you could sell for over twice that for $2000 or more. There’s a lot of people out there that would love to have our Stereo’s because ours are made in Japan Muteki. The stereo has such beautiful sound without any distortion. It has a groove and huge bass and programmable EQ through rock ‘n’ roll. And a lot of different EQ settings 560 W. It’s very very powerful and has surround sound you and me we are so lucky to have this awesome awesome stereo system the one I want to get is 720 w with for huge speakers subwoofers same brand Sony

Best systems Sony produced! That mark an great era, sadly replaced by inferior bluetooth speakers! Enjoy your now Vintage Sony...they are awesome!!!

Back then when there were no bluetooth speakers unlike today. I still have my V717 from 1997 and still sounds better than my V43D. Small speakers but packs a lot of power!
