You saved me a bunch of money!!

For months I was plagued by a problem where my back monitor and Electronic Viewfinder did not work properly. I had to tilt the monitor back to see anything in the monitor. This drove me mad and I was ready to send the camera in for repairs. Your video mentioned the proximity sensor getting dirty. After I cleaned mine, the view now properly switches between the back monitor and the EVF as expected. Many thanks!

Slight note: The “Bright Monitoring” button is only available or activated during Manual Focus. Of course if using it while shooting astrophotography MF is a given. Thanks again Mark for the valuable information.
