When it comes to electric car China will dominate the market . Don’t say Chinese production is bad .your iPhone is built in there I don’t see anyone complaining about that . Everything else come from here anyway .I am not Chinese by the way .

I love how Chinese designers are free to create without the dull constraints of consumer clinics. Look at that interior. It's a work of art. There's retro, art deco, avant garde modernism, and bit of Salvidor Dali throw in, and it is fantastic. You'd never get bored driving that. Then there is the price. How could you say no.

I think Traditional brands would be very worried about this car. Traditional brands selling EVs have limited stock or huge waiting lists and prices that most Australians can’t afford or refuse to pay. I feel like the car industry is on the verge of a massive revolution in the same way the smartphone toppled the likes of Motorola and Nokia. Looks like BYD makes its own components so supply may not be an issue. This car for this price looks like it has the goods. Time will tell.

Thank you for a concise and informative preliminary review of the car.
Couldn't wait to see one in Perth.

Sat in Atto 3 in BYD Experience Centre this week and think it offers relatively fair value for money. Hope they offer a higher spec model in future with larger battery, maybe 800v architecture, and memory for drivers seat + ventilated/heated front seats.

American living in Aus. Keywords in this presentation is “ Value for money”. This vehicle looks and sounds like it might disrupt the EV auto market here.

Hey Same, I have seen a couple of review videos and you are probably the only one who mentioned about the speaker door handler which I quite like about. Must give some credit to you for this one. Keep up the good work.

Pre-ordered it last week. I hope I won't regret it.

just a point to note regarding the suspension. the vehicle tested here is the Chinese version, BYD have said the Australian production model will have a different suspension tune designed for our roads. I don't think it is a fair review going on a build that is not meant for our roads.

These cars will be very popular in just a few years. People vote with their wallets.

Somewhat similar to a Kia e-Niro in terms of size and boot space, but much roomier for the passengers. And significantly cheaper too. If they bring this to Europe, it will sell like crazy. Only downside I see is that DC charging isn't very fast (although quite similar to others in that price category, which are mostly up to 100 kW).
