For cricket -Sachin Tendulkar's 34283 international runs, 100 centuries, 18, 426 ODI runs, 15921 test cricket runs and Sir Don Bradman's test cricket average of 99.9 . These records will never be broken ( For Watchmojo - Cricket is also a sport and a very popular one indeed )

Gretzky’s - and professional sport’s - greatest record is his point totals in his six prime seasons. No player has score 200 points in a season, except Gretzky. From the 81-82 season through the 86-87 he topped 200 points four times and in the two he didn’t he hit 183 and 196. So the record is he was able to AVERAGE over 200 points for six seasons, or roughly a third of his career while no one else to play the game ever reached that level.

To put that in perspective, that would be like someone averaging 104 home runs for six years in a row.
