- Chinese researchers have ventured into the development of a new type of hybrid underwater aerial vehicle (HAUV). She can fly in the air and dive under water.
The new air vehicle is called Nezha-SeaDart and is a hybrid air vehicle that can be launched from under water and is fixed-wing for vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and can land on its tail.
It can take off and land vertically from the ground and water, fly through the air with the lifting force generated by the wings, and smoothly cross the air-water boundary.
