Sutter and Aimee - Take Me Back to the Start

I have just finished both the wonderful book and movie entitled "The Spectacular Now", and I seriously couldn't get enough of Sutter and Aimee. Their relationship was imperfect in a beautiful way, and I think that's what made it all the more real. And so, to cope with the immense feels left by Tim Tharp and James Ponsoldt, I decided to make this video, which is my favorite personal edit by far.

I came across The Spectacular Now by accident and can honestly say I've never had a movie move me the way it did. I think you said it best when you said Aimee and Sutter's relationship was imperfect in a beautiful way, and that's what made it all the more real.

This song reminds me of middle school. Man, those were the days. Best days of my life. Everything was so simple, it was all about hanging out with friends, chasing girls, video games, and laughing 😂 sometimes, when I’m in my home town, I just listen to a song and go back and it’s like nothing has changed. And sometimes when it’s all the boys back together, this time slamming beers, I can’t tell a difference. 😂

I recently just saw this movie earlier this year thank fully because it's streaming on HBO Max and it is now one of my favorite movies ever. I even read the book which is amazing too. I am a little upset I haven't seen it earlier because it moved me so much. It is truly a story about accepting yourself and learning to love who you are and that message has been so inspiring for me. ❤️ it's more than just a high school teen Romance. It's a film for anyone who needs a reminder that you are beautifully made and your past brokenness does not have to define you.

The only movie where actors actually look like teens/ High school students. Their conversations and situations are also very relatable
