It took them 5 years to give us another tip. They're feeding us well.

Well at least we didn't have to call the hyper realistic ambulance this time.

Mike being able to animate an entire short dedicated to joking about his own wrist injury is the funniest thing

As a person who did not take breaks and now has an overuse injury, I had to go to physical therapy. So I thought I’d share the stretches they gave me here in case they might help someone else!

These are all 3 sets of 10 but you can probably adjust it if you’re using them to just stretch.

Wrist circles, make a loose fist and move your wrist in a circle, do a set of clockwise and a set of counterclockwise.
Find an edge of a table or arm of a chair and let your wrist hang off of it(for that delicious extra range of motion). First palm facing up, move your hand towards you then repeat the same motion but now with your palm facing down.
This one is also easier on a flat surface but not required, palm facing down move your hand to your left hold for a second then return to your hands normal resting position, repeat the steps but move it to the right side.
With your palm facing away from you, get your other hand and put it around your fingers, gently pull your hand back and hold for 30-ish seconds.
Return to your trusty ledge and let your hand hang off, put your other hand around your fingers and gently push your hand down and hold for 30-ish seconds.
Happy stretching <3

I remember getting this advice years ago in school during English, definitely a good one to remember for writers too.

Meanwhile, my highschool art teacher: adamant that we draw from the wrist and NEVER the shoulder or elbow, and frequently reminded us he considered using mechanical pencils and rulers cheating and he'd snap em in half if he saw us using them
I even felt a bit like he was silently shaming me when i was using an art glove w a snug fingerless glove thing on top for wrist support + to avoid smudging

i hated that class so much it was so bad and i learned absolutely nothing new, that teacher sucked and was unnecessarily loud

i swapped to mythology w my favorite teacher the next semester and i regret nothing. I got to draw for assignments in that class too and i got to make a clay sculpture of Bastet for the Egyptian mythology unit
