Abyss GONE & Ascent RETURNS! | VALORANT Map Pool Update 10.4

VALORANT already announced the map pool changes for Patch 10.4, which should be arriving sometime mid-early March. The maps rotating out will be Abyss and Bind, meanwhile both Icebox and Ascent are returning to the map pool!

Ascent is either a cakewalk or total oblivion, the map is ridiculously defender sided & sometimes it feels like you can't do anything on attack.

Okay, I like that Fracture is still in, but I hope they change something in Ascent for help the attack side more.

So the map pool will change as soon as we end Bangkok, teams that didn't qualify now know in advance what pool they are prepping into, and teams at the tourney will have about 2weeks to get ready. Seems like a good change 👍🏿

Val needs more maps. And they need to be better. They put all this effort into making the maps unique in the wrong way. Different layouts are cool but I feel like the Val map makers overdo it with connectors and with weird angles and corners.

Just something I realized recently is that there aren't a ton of enjoyable maps in the game. Ask almost anyone and they'll only like about 50% of them

Thank god abyss is out. Riot probably thought that removing Ascent was a bad idea and hence reverted the changes pronto.
