Never understood the romance many have with the past. The smell... like an over filled barn on a hot day after a downpour, all day, every day... combined with overloaded attempts to cover such up. 24/7 migrane and nauseous, trying to choke food down while drinking some warm whatever, never ending stomach pains and itchy privates. I have visited Versailles castle several times. Facts: Some women had pig bladders sewn into their dresses to relieve themselves, everyone wore perfume and powdered their wigs.
