I love the two of them together. And from everything that I finally learned about the two, I find it endearing and heartbreaking that the two of them had to wait 800 years to finally be together. It just goes to show how much San Lang truly loved Xie Lian. While Xie Lian may not fully remember who San Lang is at this time, he still falls in love with him again. It makes me want to cry, and this song shows just how long the two of them have had to wait to be together.

Watching this reminded me of when I gushed to my mom about the trailer and the parallels between the present and 800 years ago. You perfectly captured all of them at exactly the right rise and drop in the music. I love this so much.

Oh my goodness, playing the clips of when HC was caught as a young boy in between when he's saying that he knows what the Crown Prince looks like!!! So soooo good! It hits home even harder like that!
