I feel so bad for Meredith she’s had so much loss in her life (her mother, her father, her stepmother, her sister Lexie, Derek, her dog Doc, the baby she miscarried... she lost George... poor Meredith she’s had too much loss.

She wasn't ready for someone to not be Derek beside her when she woke up. Her still having Derek's blanket and still hating it but wearing it because she misses him is such a powerful moment of how grief works. I still have this hoodie of my father's that I never wear - and it's way too big for me to ever really wear - but I refuse to get rid of it. It's not even attractive for a hoodie - but I just can't get rid of it. It was my dad's and now it's mine even if I never wear it.

I wish we still saw more moments of grief for Derek, I know she’s moved on but even just happy mentions. Just like some of the other characters… once they die or leave the script forgets them- never to be heard again smh.

The only person left along side Meredith is Bailey. George is dead, Izzie left, Cristina is halfway around the world, Alex left and the love of her life, Derek is gone. She's dealt too much loss, why can't they just give her peace already? Leave her happy alongside her children.
