This gives me an idea for a TPOT episode. Two finds an old game console in the hotel’s storage that still works, despite being left alone for what could’ve been decades. But, he encounters a bunch of bugs in the game that would be pretty hard to fix. So, he teleports the contestants into the console, giving them the objective to fix the bugs. The two teams who did the least to fix the game or end up causing even more damage are up for elimination. The Strongest Team on Earth and Just Not are put up for elimination.

Edit: I kind of noticed a few things people mentioned in the comments regarding the idea, so I could probably try to respond.

1. Somebody mentioned that the game’s on ROM, which could mean that the bugs cannot be fixed. As someone who lacks experience in game design, I cannot counter this argument. So, to make things a bit more accurate, we could say that this is a more modern game on another console or platform, one where bug fixing is a little easier compared to old consoles.

2. I see that quite a few of the comments say the idea is much like the challenge from episode 2 of Brawl of the Objects (BOTO). To start, I made the idea prior to watching that episode, or I didn’t retain memory of the episode. To fix this, there could be more differences in the game. To fit in with the first correction, we could say it’s a game long dead to the internet, with few retaining actual memory of the game. It’s old, but not THAT old. Secondly, I should emphasize that the goal is to FIX bugs in the game, not ESCAPE the game. Two should be capable of bringing contestants in and out of the game, which is how the challenge could even be possible in the first place.

3. I should probably not try to predict who wins or who loses. There are obviously going to be issues teams face, so the results can be up to speculation or your own thoughts on who could win or lose.

4. I’m not a writer. I may make up ideas for things, usually fiction, but I have not taken classes, I lack experience, and I have yet to put any of my ideas down to progress with them. This idea I made was thought of for fun while I was sitting in my car.

If TPOT were a video game it would be a huge hit within the gaming industry, ain't I right?

But for real, I feel like this would be huge across the world in the 1980's especially in the United States and in the Soviet Union.

Great stylistic choice! I love it! Though don't think this is what games looked like in the 80's; The NES came out in '85 and the graphics were 16 bits. Just know that. Love the video!
