Thank you so much for this awesome, comforting lesson! My husband and I have been married for 62 very happy years. He is a wonderful man, but not of my religion. He supports me totally, was totally ok for our children to be brought up in the church. Our children left the church, but I will never give up praying, that one day we might be sealed together for all eternity! I will never give up!! Thank you ! ❤🇨🇦

I can relate to those mothers. I sent my Marine son to Iraq, then supported his pregnant wife as she sent him there again, missing the birth of their first child. I did A LOT of praying! Oh, the stories I could tell, the countless times I’d suddenly know he was in great danger and knew I needed to pray for him, even while in the middle of grocery shopping. 🙏 I know there are many others who could, too. Trust in the Lord and prayer is what that got us through it.

This is an amazingly timely approach to the "war chapters" in the Book of Mormon. During my 55 plus years as a member of the Church I don't recall this ever being discussed quite like this but it makes perfect sense. Mormon was including material in his original volume that was specifically tailored to the conditions of our day and experiences. Great stuff!
