If a Sunday night in Turkey was a song, it would be this song…. By listening it I was dreaming as a teenager… Years passed and I listen to this song every time I feel I achieve my goals and living my dream. This song is the background song of my all life. Thanks to Karla 🙏🏻🧿❤️

For those who ain't from Turkey won't know how a cultural icon this song is for people who grew up in the 90's. This was the theme song for the Parliament Cinema Club which meant Sunday movie nights. This was a time when video cassette rental was at its peak and this was one of the only ways to watch a movie without a VCR and most of the time our parents would not let us watch the movie because it was a school day the day after :)

This beautiful woman still sounds the same to me. Her voice is so beautiful to me. ❤ I met her years ago in Boulder, Colorado. 🥰

This is one of the most song for 90s generation in Türkiye. We were always waiting the good movies on Parliament Cinema Club with this song. This is unforgettable for us for this reason. 🤗

The fabulous duo of Karla Bonoff/Linda Rondstadt will always be alive and kicking because good music never dies. Younger people need to hear this kind of music so they can hear what good music sounds like instead of the mind numbing noise they listen to currently.

Karla..if your listening...thank you from top to bottom of my heart for your great song writing. It has been a long part of my life and have enjoyed every note every word. It brought me closer to wife of 40 years and closer to the people who mean so much to me. If you could hear love out loud just put on one of your songs.

What kind of song is this, I get very emotional every time I listen to it. I think of my childhood years, early 90s, Sunday cinemas. Being a kid back then was something else.
