I have fond memories of sitting on the UAV in BC2 on that snowy map. I ran zoom optics and stayed nice and high up while I provided intel to a friend, where there were enemies etc. Occasionally using my missiles to help out. It was honestly so much fun playing that role and watching him clear buildings that I'm watching from the outside.

This is why I love battlefield. The sheer amount of variation in gameplay. Tanks, flying, infantry, whatever this is. There is so much to do and explore. Games end up being such a different experience often enough depending on the role you decide for. Maybe a building is there, maybe it isnt. Just love it.

Also how great does everything from above? Its like a RTS game seeing the soldiers run around, push buildings and such.

This brings back great memories of BFBC2 my first AAA BF experience and little things like this drone hidden on the map was part of the charm of the BF series. It really just felt like a big war sandbox and was full of joy which I feel is sorely missing in most modern shooters.

If the next BF game could go back to that feeling of fun, awe, destruction, dynamism, variety & those important BF moments I think every fan will be so happy. :)

For pure simulation, that is such a good visual of the drone camera zoomed in from so high up calling in that laser on that tank. I mean Jack, you might as well have been flying actual drone mission. And if you've seen ender's game, maybe you really have?😮😊❤

I wish that this was something you were able to call in via the in-game support function. The "ranger" sits alone in a "drones" page in the loadout menus. Makes you wonder if there were supposed to be more support drones in the game.

I used to use this all the time in BC2! The one on Isla Inocentes was my favorite to use. People would line up waiting for it to respawn lol. Definitely going to check this out today.

My memories of this from BC2 are that everyone knew where they were and you usually got sniped off it within seconds of getting on it.
