This whole story has little truth and @WCCO obviously took the easy shot and did no research. It was a grocery store that had Lunchables nearing expiration and thought it's be fun to give them to students at the U of M campus. The actual University had little to do with this. Pretty much slander.

Universities are a complete waste of money these days. You are better of learning real job skills, in the real world, while getting a paycheck instead of debt.
