One of the last songs of the night, Newsboys sang the DC song, Jesus Freak because Michael Tait was a singer in that group. There was a twist with an exterminator!

I got radically saved listening to Newsboys and DC Talk…. No, y’all… like seriously RADICALLY saved!! I was an atheist/Satanist… and I got “tricked” by a pretty girl to come to a Christian group. I listened to the preacher talk about Jesus and I totally got saved!! And I attribute y’all to helping me in my music… this comment can’t possibly share how HUGE of a struggle and how long of a battle I went through to fight out of the pits of Hell to the arms of Jesus! It was about 3 years of blood, sweat, and LOTS of tears. But your album kept playing on repeat for me! I’ve now got a Masters degree in Apologetics and I’ve helped (through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT) lead hundreds of people to the Lord. And I count your influence as KEY in all of those salvations…. So what I’m saying here is. THANK YOU! Thank you for listening to the call of the Lord.

Love these guys and was fortunate enough to see them perform on Feb. 29, 2020. They didn't have an exterminator on stage that night so we didn't get to hear the NP joke. Unexpected and hilarious... I needed that belly laugh!

Even if it's a little outdated I still rock this song like an earthquake. Being called a Jesus Freak was never an insult to me. It only jazzed me to become than much more righteous!

That was stinkin' awesome. Goes in my list of favorite videos. Classic Newsboys are #1 with me, but I loved dcTalk back in the day, too, so putting them together -- and I mean, BRAD!! Dude was awesome.
