100,000 protesters expected ahead of AFD party conference | DW News

Protests are expected this weekend in the city of Essen, where the far-right Alternative for Germany is holding its summer conference. The party is riding high following recent electoral successes - despite a series of scandals. Observers say in-fighting could see the AfD shift even further to the right. For more we spoke to DW's Political Correspondent Alex Gerst.
