This video addressed some things I hadn't seen elsewhere, that were causing me a lot of trouble. One thing was the skimmer cover and jet port; my water was draining too low going into winter. The other thing was bungee cords and stakes. We get blasted with wind, and the cover acts like a sail. Tying them to the ground will keep the cover from riding up the sides of the pool and flapping in the wind. Thank you very much!!!

You left out put a tube or pillow under cover for ice expansion if in cold weather

I did all this but used a pool pillow. I guess you don’t have to but I definitely recommend. 😀

What about SNOW, the heavy wet stuff . How do you keep it from collapsing the cover ?

why not simply get it empty watering the garden & remove it until april ?

Why didn’t you remove the return jet? I’ve seen many videos about removing it

What about rain water?? It’s going to build up and pull on the cover and destroy it
