If you are just looking for the specific way to solve iteratively, go to 2:17 of the video. Open: File -- > Options - -> and then click Enable Iterative Calculation. Set the number of iterations you want to permit.

For MS Excel 2007, you have to click on that microsoft office button, select Excel options then go to Formulas

This method of iterative solving is actually not very good. I does not work with a wide array of functions. For example, try something as simple as x= 1-x. The answer is clearly x=0.5, but the iterative method described here will osillate around the answer.
A much better method is to use the Newton-Raphson method.

iteration doesn't work if you have 2 cells with 2 different formulars. they always update each time you change any value.
